Round 21 could deliver some interesting results this weekend in the A-League. There's a derby, a couple of grand final replays from previous seasons and Jets go West.
Tonight Brisbane Roar host Perth Glory. Can Brisbane bounce back or will the slide continue?
Central Coast Mariners are at home to Sydney FC on Saturday night and as these two teams are Newcastle’s biggest rivals, I don’t really care what happens, although a draw would be beneficial for the Jets.
The Melbourne derby is sure to draw a big crowd, and I would love to see Melbourne Heart continue their great run of form.
With Adelaide flogging Wellington last night it leaves us with the most important fixture of the weekend, Wanderers v Jets, Sunday afternoon at Parramatta Stadium. Can the boys do it?
The worst situation that could possibly come from this weekends Round of fixtures is that Melbourne Heart and Perth Glory win and Newcastle lose, because that would mean the red and blue would be on the bottom. A win however would see Newcastle move level with Wellington and just that little bit closer to the top 6.
How will this weekend pan out? Let us know your thoughts. Will the Jets be last after Round 21 or is this the weekend Heskey and the boys fire?
