It is do or die for Newcastle Jets tomorrow night and for Adelaide a chance to grab second spot on the A-League ladder.
Newcastle must win by 3 goals or more to jump ahead of Sydney to claim the remaining position in the top 6. This will not be an easy task as Adelaide has the best attacking record in the a-league and the second best defence, plus in their two meetings this season at Hindmarsh Adelaide won both encounters. Another worry for Newcastle is Adelaideís record at Hunter Stadium. In eleven meetings at Hunter, Adelaide has won 4 times, drawn twice and lost 5. Most clubs would be happy with that record away from home.
So how can the Jets defeat the Reds by 3 goals or more? All out attack is the obvious answer but that could leave them vulnerable at the back something the Jets canít afford.
Can Newcastle produce another performance like they did against Wellington or will Adelaide spoil Michael Bridges farewell? Lets us know how you think this will pan out.
